Congress Magazine

When I was at school I thought I was going to go into publication and print design. I appreciated learning the bare fundamentals of the printed word, and the roots that almost all publishing and typography, whether physical or digital, has evolved from. As such, I’ve developed a healthy respect for the medium of print, and that most design today still flows from its foundation today.

So for my final project at school, I partnered with a photographer friend and we designed, edited, and published a magazine. Its focus was on Ventura, CA, and the local community. Below are a few pages from it.
